President Kovind unveils life-size portrait of Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Parliament

New Delhi, Feb 12 (ANI): A life-size portrait of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee was unveiled at the Central Hall of the Parliament on Tuesday by President Ram Nath Kovind. During the unveiling programme, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu and other top leaders were also present and paid their tribute to the former prime minister. Vajpayee passed away last year on August 16 at the age of 93 after prolonged illness.Paying his tributes to the former leader, PM Modi said, “Atal ji had a long political career during which he has seen many ups and downs but he yet, he continued raising issues of public interest and never ever deviated from his ideology.”
