Pulwama attack: Situation under control, will decide soon on curfew relaxation, says Jammu DC

Jammu, Feb 17(ANI): As the curfew in Jammu enters third day on Sunday, the Deputy Commissioner of Jammu Ramesh Sharma said that even though the situation in the region is peaceful and under control, people should try not to go outside of their houses. Speaking about curfew relaxation, Sharma said that decision will be taken soon about it and until then schools will remain closed and examinations will remain postponed. Curfew was imposed in the town following violence during Jammu bandh called by Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry to protest the deaths of 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel who lost their lives in a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama on February 14.
