Pulwama terror attack: Curfew continues for day 2 in Jammu after violent protests

Jammu, Feb 16 (ANI): With police and security forces patrolling the roads, curfew continued in Jammu for the second day on Saturday. Curfew was clamped in the town following violence during Jammu bandh called by Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry to protest the killing of 40 CRPF personnel in a militant attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama on February 14. Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Jammu, Ramesh Kumar said, “Curfew was imposed yesterday, no casualties were reported. The situation is under control but as a precautionary measure, we have continued with the curfew. We will decide whether to continue it or not by evening, after assessing the situation.”
