Lucknow (UP)/Panaji (Goa), Dec 22 (ANI): Congress leader Jaipal Reddy on December 20 attacked Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar on retaining power in Goa. He alleged that Parrikar is trying to blackmail Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “He talks of morality, what morality is there of Mr Parrikar sticking to the chair like a leech, I know he is in a position to blackmail Narendra Modi, he was the Defence Minister during Rafale deal.” Reddy’s comments came after Panaji bench of the Bombay High Court dismissed a petition seeking medical examination of Manohar Parrikar. On the Contrary, Congress leader Pramod Tiwari said, “Manohar Parrikar is an honest leader, who is different from other BJP leaders in some cases. That is why he was removed from the position of a Union Minister and given the post as Goa Chief Minister. He has some secrets about Rafale deal that PM Modi and leadership of BJP are not daring to remove him as CM because when they will do it, he will reveal all secrets.” Earlier this year, CM Parrikar visited the United States for treatment of pancreatic ailment.
