Rahul Gandhi calls Amit Shah’s animal remarks ‘disrespectful’

Kolar (Karnataka), Apr 07 (ANI): Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday condemned BJP president Amit Shah’s animal remark by calling it “disrespectful”. He also added that Congress party doesn’t take Amit shah’s remark seriously. Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Saturday slammed Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah for his remarks equating the opposition parties to ‘snakes’, ‘mongoose’, ‘dogs’ and ‘cats’. Gandhi called the animal remark by Shah a “disrespectful statement”. “According to Amit Shah and the basic vision of the BJP-RSS, there are only two non-animals in this country. There is Mr Narendra Modi and there is Mr Amit Shah,” said Rahul Gandhi. Amit Shah made stinging remarks against the opposition parties trying to unite to take on the BJP in next year’s Lok Sabha polls by equating them to “snakes, mongoose, dogs’ and cats”.
