Raman Singh pays tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee

New Delhi, Aug 17 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Friday paid his last respects to former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in Delhi. Several prominent leaders flock to BJP headquarters to pay tribute to Ex-PM. The body of former prime minister was taken to the BJP HQ from his residence. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president Amit Shah and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited BJP HQ to pay their last respects to the 'Gentle Giant.' Vajpayee was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on June 11 after complaints of urinary tract infection, low urine output and chest congestion. Vajpayee breathed his last on Thursday evening in New Delhi. He was 93-year old. Delhi schools and government offices will remain closed today. National 7-day mourning has also been announced. He ruled the country for 13 days in 1996, 13 months in 1998 and for almost six years from 1999.
