Sand artist pays tribute to late former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Juhu beach

Mumbai, Aug 18 (ANI): Sand artist Laxmi Gaud sculpted former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at Juhu beach in Mumbai on Friday to pay tribute to him. Visitors flocked to the spot to have glimpse of the art. It took Laxmi around 6 hours to complete the art. Former Prime Minister and Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee died on Thursday at the age of 93. The last rite ceremony of Atal Bihari Vajpayee was held yesterday which began at Smriti Sthal in the presence of family and top political leaders in the national capital. Earlier in the day, the mortal remains of India’s 10th Prime Minister were brought from his residence at Krishna Menon Marg to the party office, where scores of people, leaders as well as common people, turned up to pay floral tributes.
