New Delhi, May 19 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Saturday rejected Congress-JD(S) plea where they had challenged the appointment of pro tem speaker KG Bopaiah. The SC said that Bopaiah will continue to be pro tem speaker and the live broadcast of floor test is the best way to ensure transparency of proceedings. Congress and JD(S) had challenged BS Yeddyurappa’s decision of making Bopaiah pro tem speaker. Earlier on Friday, SC ordered Bharatiya Janata Party to not make any policy decision before floor test. SC ordered for floor test which is to be held at 4 p.m. today. The decision was taken after hearing the arguments against the petition filed by the Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) following Karnataka Governor Vajubhai R. Vala's invitation to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to form the government in the state. The MLAs of all the parties have reached the Vidhana Soubha and BS Yeddyurappa and Siddaramaiah had taken their oath as MLA.
