Security beefed-up across India ahead of 72nd Independence Day

New Delhi/ Rajouri (J&K)/Ludhina/Guwahati, Aug 15 (ANI): Police across the country beefed up security measures on Tuesday, ahead of 72nd Independence Day celebrations. India achieved its Independence on August 15, 1947, ending more than 200 years of British rule. The day will begin with Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, hoisting the national flag at the Red Fort on Wednesday morning. After the ceremony, Modi will address the nation. Ahead of the Independence Day celebrations, authorities are leaving no stone unturned to ensure firm security.
