Shillong: Kolkata police commissioner Rajeev Kumar leaves CBI office, questioning to continue on Sunday

Shillong (Meghalaya), Feb 09 (ANI): Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar who had arrived in Shillong on Friday for CBI questioning in connection with the Saradha chit fund scam case, in which is alleged to an accused, left the office of the investigating agency on Saturday. The enquiry is still on and Kumar will be again questioned on Sunday. On Feb 3, a CBI team had landed outside Kumar’s residence in Kolkata which led to a scuffle between Kolkata police and the CBI team, and also led to a political uproar nationwide which saw West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee sitting on a three-day dharna, and matter being dragged to the Supreme Court, which facilitated the present questioning of Kumar.
