Palamu (Jharkhand), Nov 12 (ANI): The ‘counter-naxal’ operations are at full swing in Jharkhand’s Palamu district. The Mohammadganj Thana police recently arrested six Naxals accused of perpetrating violence in the region. A large amount of arsenal and hate-inciting documents were also seized from the Naxals in a major crackdown carried out by the police.Paramilitary forces have beefed up security and efforts are being made to clampdown Naxals in the region. Naxal activities in the region is almost negligible now. The tactic of using tribals as their shield has flopped miserably. The only way out for Naxals is to surrender in front of the police or become targets of counter-insurgency operations.
