New Delhi, Dec 26 (ANI): Sikh protestors defaced the ‘Rajiv Chowk’ signboard in New Delhi’s Connaught Place area on Wednesday. It is their anger towards the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi for the infamous 1984 anti-Sikh riots which had not only disrupted the lives of Sikhs residing in Punjab but also instilled fear. Protestors chanted slogans against the late leader. Yesterday, Youth Akali Dal workers had also blackened the statue of Rajiv Gandhi in Punjab’s Ludhiana over the same issue. Earlier in the month, the Supreme Court convicted Congress leader Sajjan Kumar for his involvement in the riots.
