Balangir (Odisha), Jan 15 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday accused the state government headed by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik of not using the Centre’s fund for the welfare of tribal people. While describing the schemes by the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government at the Centre, he said that it has kept in mind the interests of tribal people and created a District Mineral Fund which would give benefits from mining areas to the residents. He said, “After this decision by the Centre, Odisha has got more than Rs 4,000 crore but unfortunately that the state government used only meager amount. The state government needs to provide the benefit of Centre’s schemes to people.”
