Moradabad (Uttar Pradesh), Sep 09 (ANI): Primary students of a school in Moradabad are celebrating Grandparents’ Day on Sunday. Students were excited and happy as they dressed like their grandparents. They wore fake moustaches, held sticks in their hand and also wore white wigs to complete their look. The students decorated the school with heartfelt slogans for their grandparents and also made handmade cards for them. One of the teachers said, “Our school’s small children have celebrated Grandparents’ Day. We are celebrating this day because we want to instill this sentiment in children that they should love their grandparents. And they should also feel the importance of grandparents in the family.” Grandparents Day is celebrated every year on the first Sunday of September and this year it is being celebrated on September 9.
