Su-30MKIs forms ‘Trishul in the Sky’ at R-Day parade

New Delhi, Jan 26 (ANI): Three Su-30MKIs formed ‘Trinetra’ as they flew past Rajpath. They split outwards and upwards, forming a ‘Trishul in the Sky’. The formation was led by Group Capt AK Misra, Commanding Officer of 15 Squadron with Sqn Ldr RC Kulkarni. One Rafale with 2 Jaguar Deep penetration strike aircraft and 2 MiG-29 Air Superiority Fighters flew past Rajpath, in 'Eklavya’ formation. The fighter jets flew at height of 300m and speed of 780 Km/h. The formation is led by Gp Capt Rohit Kataria, Flight Commander of 17 Squadron. Republic Day parade culminates with a single Rafale aircraft flying at a speed of 900km/hr carrying out a ‘Vertical Charlie’. The aircraft is piloted by Group Capt Harkirat Singh, Shaurya Chakra, Commanding Officer of 17 Squadron with Sqn Ldr Kislaykant.
