Telangana Deputy CM holds review meeting for Muharram preparations

Hyderabad, Sep 14 (ANI): Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali held a review meeting at the secretariat for Muharram preparations in the state. While addressing the meeting, Ali said that he would soon visit the ‘Aashoorkhanas’ in the city along with other higher officials soon and take note of the situation. Agreeing with the proposals of enhancement of grant in aid of Rs 5.5 lakh each for repairs and maintenance of the ‘Aashoorkhanas’, he assured that, along with Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy, he will represent the matter to Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. Subsequently, works in the Moula Ali will also be started soon, said the minister. Ali added that importance will be given to sanitation, and GHMC would also set up mobile toilets. He added that the Transmission Corporation of Telangana Limited would ensure that there is sufficient power distribution with 10 distribution transformers in the region. Ali also said that the roads will be repaired on priority basis so that the procession goes on smoothly.
