New Delhi, Oct 23 (ANI): A group of Tibetan youth was detained by the police for protesting over the visit of China's Minister of Public Security Zhao Kezhi to New Delhi on Tuesday. Carrying Tibetan flags and shouting slogans against the Chinese government, the protesters demanded international intervention to end the atrocities meted out by the Chinese to Tibetans. Zhao Kezhi called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India is home to almost 1,00,000 Tibetans. Exiled Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama has lived in the country since fleeing a failed uprising against Chinese rule in his homeland in 1959.
