Dhalai (Tripura), Oct 04 (ANI): To hear the grievances and demands of citizens, Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb held 'Janata Darbar' programme in remote Dhalai district of Tripura on Wednesday. The district-level meeting was organized, around 94 km from the capital city, in the Chandraipara class XII High School ground in Ambassa where around 200 people could directly interact with the Chief Minister with their demands and problems besides expressing their ideas for the development of the state. The idea is to decentralize the administration, where unlike the normal practice one need not travel to capital Agartala to meet the Ministers, in the new system, on the contrary, the Ministers were available at their doorstep. A large number of people who turned out for the meeting were from the tribal section who said that they were very happy and hopeful for getting an opportunity to meet the state Chief Minister and directly expressed their worries and demands to him, which otherwise would be next to impossible.
