Use of polythene should be stopped for safety of cows: CM Raje

Bharatpur (Rajasthan) February 27 (ANI): Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje recently participated in Sumeru Mahotsava organized at Jadkhor Gau dham in Bharatpur. Addressing to the people in the presence of saints, Chief Minister said, “this dham is unique in itself which is running cow shelters in far flung areas taking care of more than sixty thousand cows. There is a need to make special efforts to protect cows. For this the ban on the use of polythene should be followed in the state by everyone.” “Participation of people is also important along with the efforts of the state Government for care and protections of cows,” She added. For the first time in the country Gopalan Ministry is created in Rajasthan and provision of 50 crores has been made in the budget for development of basic amenities in various cow shelters.
