Vajpayee had sweet tooth for 'thaggu ke laddu'

Kanpur (UP), Aug 17 (ANI): Nation mourns Atal Bihari Vajpayee's demise as he was one of the most loved Prime Ministers that India had. He will always be remembered for his mesmerising poems, orating and writing skills. But one thing that most of the people don't know about the former prime minister had a sweet tooth. He used to love eating special laddoos from Kanpur's 'Thaggu ke Laddu' shop. The owner of the prominent sweet shop said, whenever BJP leaders were in Kanpur, they used to come down to his shop and get laddoos packed for Vajpayee. Vajpayee also enjoyed eating Khichdi, Gol Gappas. The 'Gentle Giant' breathed his last on Thursday evening in New Delhi's AIIMS. He was 93-year old. Delhi schools and government offices will remain closed today.
