We did everything we could and tried our best: Sushma Swaraj on Indians killed in Iraq

New Delhi, Mar 20 (ANI): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said that the Government does not believe in the concept of assuming missing persons to be dead and therefore did everything it could to investigate the issue of Indians killed in Iraq. She said, "Whatever we could have done we did and we tried our best." She added, "I personally talked to the foreign ministers of the respective countries. I asked them if they have any evidence, they should provide us the same." Earlier on Tuesday, Union External Affairs Minister (EAM) Sushma Swaraj confirmed that 39 Indians, who went missing in Mosul in Iraq in the year 2014, have been killed.
