We have not approached any party: Omar Abdullah on BJP-PDP breakup

Srinagar (Jammu & Kashmir), Jun 19 (ANI): Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday cleared that the National Conference Party (NCP) has not approached any party hours after Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) pulled out of the alliance with Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). While addressing media, he said, “We met Governor today. We are not in talks with any party to form government in the state. Neither anyone has approached us nor have we approached anyone. From my party’s side I have given assurance to the Governor that we will cooperate with him in all matters and we have also requested him that Governor’s rule should not be continued for long.” Earlier today, BJP General Secretary Ram Madhav, while addressing a press conference, informed that the party has pulled out of its alliance with PDP.
