Will provide 1 lakh 81,000 mobiles to people in 3 months: CM Raman Singh

Rajnandgaon (Chattisgarh), Aug 04 (ANI): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh on Saturday announced that the government will provide 1.8 lakh mobile phones in the hands of people. CM Raman Singh attended the ‘Mobile tihar’ festival in Rajnandgaon which is the smartphone distribution scheme for women and youth in the state. He said, “In Rajnandgaon 32 new towers will be put up. For the purpose of better connectivity internet cables will be spread across the region. In Rajnanadgaon we are starting the ‘Mobile Tihar’. We will provide 1 lakh 81 thousand mobiles in the hands of people within the span of three months. The village women would have 1 lakh 26,000 phones. Youth would also have smartphones in their hands.”
