Wreath laying ceremony of Naik Gosavi Keshav Somgir held in Nashik

Nashik (Maharashtra), Nov 13 (ANI): The mortal remains of Indian Army soldier, Naik Gosavi Keshav Somgir, reached his home in Nashik on Monday. The soldier lost his life in a ceasefire violation by Pakistan on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district on Sunday. Wreath laying ceremony of the slain soldier took place late at night in his hometown. Hundreds of men, women and Children gathered to pay their last respects to the soldier. Naik Gosavi Keshav Somgir was critically injured in the firing from across the border and succumbed to gunshot wound injuries. Somgir, 29-year-old, hails from Sri Rampur village of Nashik district in Maharashtra. He is survived by his wife.
