Zila Sainik Welfare Office gives benefits to Ex-Servicemen in Srinagar

Srinagar, Feb 06 (ANI): Zila Sainik Welfare Office, Srinagar, is now working under the Ministry of Defence and Union Territory Administration of Jammu and Kashmir. They are working to promote measures for the welfare and resettlement of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and families of deceased personnel of the Armed Forces. They are also maintaining up-to-date statistics of Ex-Servicemen (ESM), Widows, Dependants, and families of serving Defence Personnel under the head pensioners and non-pensioners for ESM and widows. Zila Sainik Welfare Office seeks and monitors employment opportunities for ESM and widows in the Private sector. This office runs many schemes for Ex-servicemen and their families. This organisation is giving benefits to retired army soldiers and widows and war veterans of Kashmir.
