Jakarta (Indonesia), Aug 21 (ANI): Indian shooter Sanjeev Rajput shone to glory after scoring a silver medal in men’s 50 m air rifle (3 positions) event at Asian Games 2018 on Tuesday. The shooter, after his win said that, “I have been without a job for four years now. I know my passion for shooting and it helps me pursue my dreams. But my family’s support is a driving force.” He further said, “A medal in these Asian Games is equivalent to the Olympics. We can even call it pre-Olympics. The world rank holders and reputed opponents from China and Japan and other countries come for this event, so this is one of the toughest competitions after Olympics.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the shooter on Twitter. His post read, “Kudos to @SanjeevRajput1 for the Silver Medal in the Men’s 50m Rifle 3 Position at the @asiangames2018.
