Vote counting of 2nd phase of local polls goes on at snail's pace in Nepal

Kathmandu (Nepal) July 3 (ANI): Vote counting for the second phase of Nepal local election is becoming a victim of the “Stop and Go” style because many of logistic and technical problems. The Election Commission has not been able to start the vote counting in six local levels because of various problems. According to the information received by Joint Election Operation Center, counting of votes are underway in 91 local levels. The Election Commission has informed that the results of 242 local levels out of 334 had been declared by on Monday afte oon. The opposition CPN-UML (Communist Party of Nepal- Unified Marxist Leninist) has won over 44 local levels.The Nepali Congress, on other hand, have managed to win 29 local levels.
